On April 14th 2015, In a partnership with DOT Rwanda, UWEZO Youth Empowerment is implementing the ReachUp and Startup Programs. This project is comes as a response to the most the alarming need to empower youth with disabilities with employable skills. The programs equip youth with disabilities with tools and capabilities that enables them to advance their economic status by building successful, sustainable livelihoods. The training brings together up to 20 youth with different disabilities for a month long intensive training held at UWEZO Offices in Kicukiro District near Zinia Market.
UWEZO is a national NGO that works towards the empowerment of children and youth with disabilities and it is registered since 2014.
